Features Of Your Swing Action

By Maggie Cart

Having the right driver is pivotal, otherwise you're never going to get on the green until after everybody is ready to move onto the next hole. In fact, the right driver can actually turn a seemingly poor golfer into a pro, because it will be made to help them control the ball better.

First off, it's all about your stance. If you're not getting the stance right, then you just can't get power behind the ball. You've got to learn how to size up the ball, and stand in a perfect position to hit as well.

Then you've got to learn to pivot. If you can't pivot properly it's going to put you off. But you've got to be able to fully turn your body with your swing, while keeping your stabilizing leg straight, and pointed in the other direction.

But you have to make sure when you're starting out that you trade the larger club face for the smaller body. That's because you need to make sure you can get a clean hit on the ball at first.

What you're going to find that most golfers aren't even aware of, is selecting a club that's perfect for how you swing. That means getting your loft, as well as your actual shaft flex perfect.

That means having a grip that doesn't waver, and that's going to ensure a perfect connection every time that you come to the ball. That can take a lot of practice to achieve, but it's a necessary part of your game.

That's why they make different types of grips, so that you can make sure you have the feel you need to hit the ball properly. But then there are also grips that are made so that you can learn how to properly grasp the club.

That means a good rigid shaft, like those made from steel, so that it's not going to bend on you at all. These types of fine detail can make all the difference in the world when it comes to hitting the ball.
