Corsets For Cheap Suggests The Paradoxical Nature Of Sex

By Patrice McCoy

Corsets for cheap prices online represent a shift in fashion and possibly a reemergence of this garment as a fundamental piece of lingerie. Some might say that it is being restored to its rightful place as the queen of underwear. It has occupied the enviable position of being closest to the skin of women for many centuries.

In 2012 many investors have difficulty in finding opportunities. Aside from agriculture, traditional spheres of economic activity seem to be stagnant. Bankers have worked out ways of taking shareholder profits for themselves. Mines, manufacturing and road building seemed to be mired in stubbornly slow growth. However, some have worked out a new word for one area that can still yield profits and prospects. It is called 'womanomics'.

Small bags made of silky fabric that perform the same practical functions as plastic packets come and go on shop shelves, sold for astronomical prices. Jewelry, home ware and slips of sexy fabric sell lustily as though unaware of economic chaos and mayhem all about them.

It is perfectly understandable that looks matter to women. They look pretty, beautiful and desirable. When they move people look at them gently. A woman who pretended for a while to be a man was horrified to discover that everyone looked her aggressively. As a woman she was used to being looked at with admiration. As a man she attracted aggressive or competitive looks. After a short while she reverted to being a woman.

Feminism became a very important political and philosophical movement during the twentieth century. For the most part it brought about change for the better, but in one respect it had unfortunate consequences. Many women renounced their naturally beautiful outlines and tried to look like men. They wore pants, padded their shoulders and looked flat chested. When a man grows his hair long, like a woman, another man may come up behind him eagerly ready to make a witty comment. When the the first man turns around, exposing his male frontal outline wit seems suddenly seems supercilious.

The seductive feminine outline has been a feature of social life for many centuries. Civilizations have come and gone but the corset has survived. Breasts are drawn together so that a cleavage is formed to attract male eyes like iron filings to a magnet. At the same time the waist is drawn in to accentuate the outline that is distinctively not male.

What became known as the sexual revolution promised to offer women freedom to have sex when they wish, largely unrestrained by social convention and taboos. For many such freedoms were manifest physically by wearing nonrestrictive underwear. This works well when a body is well toned by rigorous diet and hours on treadmills but in many cases the natural softness of female flesh asserts itself. To make it even for irresistible some girls wear corsets with embellishments like suspenders and stockings to make themselves look utterly sexy.

Corsets for cheap suggests a mercenary attitude to a garment that is intimately associated with romance, eroticism and subtle pleasures. This captures the paradoxical nature of sex. On the one hand it demands the highest and most spiritual responses of which human beings are capable. On the other hand there is a banality about it that emerges as the excitement of desire subsides.
