Do you want a Birmingham Magician?

By Bonnie Bishop

Have you been given the envious task of planning an event for your work? There will be many different elements to consider. Finding a suitable venue, catering and entertainment is all on the to do list but as a Birmingham magician, I'm here to offer you some advice on planning the perfect corporate event. The first thing to remember is don't panic, if you do you will forget things, let's take it a step at a time.

The primary factor when planning your event is to book a good entertainer. A Birmingham magician would be a fantastic choice but which one? The websites are an indication of professionalism so check to see what type of content is on there. Don't be fooled though, make sure you check out their testimonials If they don't have any, why not? The majority of time it's because they don't have the experience of performing for real people.

By now you may have created a shortlist of suitable performers. Now its time to find out what your Birmingham magician can offer you in terms of performances. Do you want a mingling magician? Someone who specialises in performing to small groups or tables. You might prefer to have a magician who performs a cabaret show to the whole room. Contact your Birmingham magician to find out which performance would be most fitting for the event.

So hopefully you have decided upon a performance option for your Birmingham magician and no its time to enquire about cost. A good quality Birmingham magician will charge in the region of 400 for an excellent walk around set. If you have decided upon a cabaret or after dinner show the price is usually over double that of walk around. Contact your magician and get an accurate quote. If they come back with a much cheaper price, it's usually an indication of a sub standard performer.

One important point to remember when booking your Birmingham magician is that it's not a retail sale. Cheaper does not necessarily mean a bargain, more often than not the cheaper magicians are cheaper for a reason. They just aren't good enough! By undercutting your competition they are an appealing option but 9 times out of 10 the client (you) will regret hiring a substandard performer. It is also bad for the industry and it leaves a negative impression on the rest of the magicians out there.
