Little Big Planet Karting And Rayman Legends Show Off Their Launch Details For Their Fans

By Jules Grimm

When Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced Little Big Planet Karting back in March, most people imagined ourselves taking control of Sack-boy and Sack-girl while they kicked all around the track in that humorous way only Little Big Planet characters can do. Due to the substantial success of Mario Kart, it seemed to be only a matter of time before someone from PlayStation cottoned on that they could do the equivalent by using their own beloved family friendly franchise, and so Little Big Planet Karting was created and the game will see it's Playstation 3 exclusive launch on the 9th of November, just in time for Christmas time.

Sony launched a "Story" trailer not long ago revealing what Little Big Planet Karting has to offer

And this would not be the Little Big Planet community if it did not play host to epic customisation, where you are going to be able to construct your own stages in the most minute detail and upload it for the other 6 million gamers to try out. In addition, gamers are going to be allowed to produce their very own Karting rules, personalise Sack-boy and almost all the "Karts" in the game.

It's great to watch a game so fully designed to give the power of creativity to the gamer and then allow anyone to share their own creative works with each other. And so darn CYOOOT! It's such a shame it is definitely exclusive to the Playstation 3...

In other news, Rayman Legends for the Nintendo wii U gets an official gameplay trailer that demonstrates all the loving characters of Rayman doing their leaping thing.

Ubisoft revealed in June this year that Rayman Legends, Created by Ubisoft Montpellier will certainly follow-up the storyline of the prior Rayman Origins, however this title, now being on the Wii U, will have new features including the Nintendo wii U's brand new game controller with touch screen interface.

Precisely how this can make use of it, I actually am not entirely sure, but I'd envision that it will certainly house some type of cooperative experience while friends utilize the Nintendo wii Remotes on the other three characters.

One interesting feature that had been mentioned, was that the gamer could use the innovative Wii U controller to play Rayman Legends whilst the Tv set is off, although why you would want to do that is completely beyond me, perhaps other people know a reason behind this?

Rayman Legends will also have an online element with the Wii U, allowing you to join up with all your friends and challenge each other's speed and skill within the games.

Rayman Legends is actually a Wii U release product, meaning it comes out at the same time that the Nintendo wii U gaming console will be released - on the 30th of November. These guys really are timing almost all their releases for Christmas time. Exactly how are many of us supposed to find the money for all of that?

I suppose I will have to begin saving again and keep a list so I do not lose out on a few of these game titles.
