Fresh Bioshock Infinite & Halo 4 Trailers

By Jules Grimm

With Halo 4 around the corner, Microsoft released a new release trailer which had names for instance David Fincher and Tim Miller attached to its creation. David Fincher (Fight Club & The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) acted as the executive producer on the trailer, while expert visual effects guy Tim Miller (Scott Pilgrim & The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) acted as director. This newest game in the franchise is actually being hailed as the most anticipated games of 2012, David & Tim took on the difficult job of showing all of us an emotional side of the favourite gaming icon, Master Chief.

With the usual fashion associated with the franchise's trailers, this will be live action mixed with CGI.. very good CGI I might add, & shows what looks like to me, a number of the horrors Master Chief would need to face to become the iconic legend he is today... or even in the future in case you want to be pedantic about it. Don't miss this release, Halo 4 is released in November 2012 about the 6th of November 2012 and will make a perfect Christmas gift for a friend.

On the other front, 2K Games is definitely releasing a lot of gameplay and trailer media lately for 1 of the most revered titles out there - Bioshock. A new instalment associated with the franchise, Bioshock:Infinite, will be taking adventure towards the skies rather than in the familiar underwater setting connected with the previous video game titles & should, if all goes right, end up being on the doorsteps early next year in March, contrary to the earlier announcement that it would come out this October.

Creative Director of Irrational Games, Ken Levine said in May: "When many of us announced the release date of Infinite in March, most people felt pretty great about the timing. Since then, we've uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even far more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best BS:Infinite game possible, we've decided to move the game's release to February."

We will hold thumbs they will be improving the game as they stated, but then again, when have they let us down? Besides the undeniable fact that Infinite won about 75 awards at the E3 of 2011, many of us came to expect a certain standard of quality from Irrational Games & they appear to be on a path to delivering on that expectation.

Watching that "Beast of America" trailer, it's such an amazing contrast coming from the initial game's narrow, dark & claustrophobic atmosphere to the bright sunny wide open sky of Infinite. I wonder how the tale will translate from the 1 to the next. I'll give them this, their artistic style will be captivating and the graphics will be top notch, if the narrative matches that, this would be the video game to remember.

BS:Infinite is queued up for a 01 March 2013 release, if this doesn't get bumped back again...
