What To Know About Adam And Eve Pictures

By Eric Jimenez

People who associate with the Christian faith know the story in the Bible about Eve and Adam. This man and woman lived together in the Garden of Eden. Here they were surrounded by trees that bore fruit that they could eat. All of these trees could be taken from, except for the tree of good and evil that God told them not to eat from. There are no authentic Adam and Eve pictures. Instead, only depictions of these people in various books and pieces of art.

While in the Garden of Eden, the pair was confronted by Satan. He suggested that Eve eat from the forbidden tree of good and evil. Satan said that the fruit was good and convinced Eve to eat from it. Eve told Adam what she had done and gave him some as well.

When God returned, they both hid away because they knew they had went against his orders. They were later sent from the garden and told they could not return. Most pictures showcase important moments from their story. That is, it might display the two eating from the tree of good and evil, covering themselves in leaves, hiding from God when he came to look for them and other important moments in this Biblical story.

These people are depicted in different ways based on number of factors, including the person who is credited with making the picture. As is true of Jesus depictions, the person who is making the art often implements signs and physical traits from their culture. There is no clear and universal idea of what they physically looked like. Therefore, the images of them are expected to vary based on many things.

Pictures may be included in literature, such as the Bible and books for children. They might also be made as artwork that can be displayed in churches, museums, homes and other similar places. Some people like to hang this, and other Christian art, as reminders of their belief system and the important stories of the Bible.

The artwork and books that feature these pictures may be available at many different stores. Cost for the visual depictions will differ. People are encouraged to search around until they find their favorite images. The might also attempt to create their own.

There were no cameras or other people present when these events were said to take place. Therefore, it is unknown what happened or what they actually looked like. All pictures contain these two are based around personal or popular perception only.
