Points On Stories About German Shepherds

By Scott Evans

When it comes to matters dogs, it is unreasonable not to mention German Shepherds. This is because these dogs are one of the most reputable and respected pets in the world, since time immemorial. Their qualities surpass those of regular dogs, since they are exceptionally strong, intelligent, and they grow to be exceptionally gentle and loyal creatures. This piece will in detail, discuss some of the most interesting stories about German Shepherds.

It is important to note that among the most amusing tales of German shepherds, are those of the creatures doing unimaginable, incredible or extraordinary things that are seen as undoable by animals. Many entail these creatures saving lives of not only their real owners or friends, but also of strangers that are in rather risky or life-threatening situations. These creatures, with reference to the tales, have touched the hearts of many a people.

The story of Luks saving his Yugoslavian statesman in June 1943, the owner, Josip Broz was in a very complicated situation, whereby he found a bomb which fell nearby. The owner of the dog, who was a Yugoslav Partisan commander, was fascinatingly saved by his dog Luks, which sacrificed his life. This event occurred during the war of Sutjeska, and this story was only revealed after the war, in the post-battle report.

Another fascinating story about these animals is whereby a dog named Buddy led a federal police officer to the exact location where the life of his owner was at stake. This happened in April 2010, whereby Ben asked his German shepherd to seek help, when he noticed that his workshop based in Alaska, had been set on fire.

Another heroic act by these amazing animals happened in November 2013, whereby Jade, the name of the dog, saved the life of an abandoned girl. Jade was strolling with her owner named Roger, and suddenly, Jade started leading Roger towards a park bush. Roger got shocked when he found out that Jade had actually led him towards a place where there was a baby bag which had a cute baby that was crying inside. Roger immediately informed the local authorities, who took the one-day old toddler and gave her the necessary treatment and care.

The dog hastily got from her bedroom, ran to the bedroom of her owner, and started barking, scratching the door, and whining incessantly. Ultimately, the owner heard the cries and alerts of the dog, got up, and contained the situation. If the dog had not notified the owner of the fire, then, he would have certainly perished.

In quite a heroic twist of events, the German shepherd pulled Shannon out of the track, and consequently moved her nearby the road where she could be easily identified by passersby. Within a short while, a bicyclist noticed her and helped her. This is yet another case of where the dog in question saved human life.

In conclusion, German shepherds act not only as friends of man, but also protectors who can go out of the way to save lives and alleviate danger. The animals are thus selfless, and can sacrifice their lives in order to ensure the safety and well-being of their beloved owners or even strangers that are in rather risky circumstances.
