Impressions and impersonations are fun courses in entertainment. They are a way to relive memories and give tribute to just about any deserving cultural icon. That applies even in other personages, like in the imitation of actors, politicians, and otherwise famous persons.

Others might think that its good enough to merely be a lookalike. The impressiveness is undeniably shallow in this one. Anyone can be spruced up with cosmetics, and it is also easy to vamp oneself up with trademark clothing. However, this can quickly get bromidic. Impersonation is not so much a turf for genetics but that of skill and practice. A wide repertoire of acts and skills is something that audiences would really pay to see.

After all, this particular King is so down to earth, he can follow you right through the end of it.

As said, those who get to be really successful in his endeavor are those who are both lookalikes and soundalikes, something that may make them akin to and worthy of the name of The Great Pretender. Aside from having different styles and purposes, there are also different levels of impersonation. Some are really professionals, who are serious about their Elvis impersonation, with some doing it for a living.
