The Work Of Spiritual Paintings

By Casandra Newton

Spiritual paintings are a form of art based on the biblical teachings. Their existence has been there since time in memorial. During the days when Jesus Christ was on earth, this form of art was evident. It has not withered as time goes though their existence today is under jeopardy. These works of art are useful in passing some valuable message to people of the world. Hence, every portrait drawn has its own message it passes on to the church.

The answer to the question if people need them is yes. Forecasting about future events is well portrayed using a religious drawing. Some events are bound to happen in the future. These events may either be advantageous or evil. In such an event, a manifestation comes to the painter, and he or she puts this message in the form of a drawing to warn or inform people about it.

Another key area is that of passing the will of God to the congregation in church. As we know exceedingly well, God communicates to us through the bible and other mysterious ways. In case He is unhappy about something, He will pass such information to a painter. He or she will eventually come with a drawing to give people the information from above.

At other times, a lot of mysteries may happen. Such mysteries are beyond human intellect to understand. We know that the Almighty works in mysterious ways. In order to solve such a puzzle, His manifestation to a religious painter is bound to open our minds for understanding. In this case, the portrait to be drawn is sufficient to interpret whatever people need to know regarding the situation at hand.

Today, the need for salvation has been transformed to different aspects. Before, it was the use of these religious drawings. But now, salvation is sought from the house of God rather than belief in drawings. With the touch of a preacher, one is bound to be relieved of all the bondage he or she has been carrying. This has rendered these aspects to lose value in their true face of worship.

In other cases, it will be to proclaim healing to those who are sick. It is known that faith can move mountains. In this case, the belief one has on a certain religious picture could proclaim instant healing for this individual. The painting is designed to pass miracles to any person who has faith in it. This is usually the work of God and His unending mercy and love for the people.

For self cleansing, proclaiming the word of God and reading it always is necessary to seek his grace. The emergence of preachers who are specialized in his word is enough to intervene for such a person. In case of fear of taking, there are confession booths in most churches. The troubled person just needs to walk into one of them and confess in secrecy to a priest. This has rendered these artifacts irrelevant.

To sum up, spiritual paintings are losing value and ground due to the emergence of interpreters and technology advancement. We have nowadays projectors which show the message being passed on screens for such individuals to read in their minds. In addition to this, interpreters of sign language are available to offer help to those in need.
